They had these amazing spiral incense sticks, that were all burning at the same time, I believe you put a prayer on the tag, and then let it go, which it apparently does for some time...
Here you can see several really huge spiral incense sticks...several feet high...
The lighting was amazing...especially with all the incense in the air...

This on top of the Rex Hotel, fantastic view, and probably the most famous bar in town. It became really well known as a place for journalists and others to congregate during the war.
